waitangi day naughtiness
I’ve noticed quite a fair amount of stickers, stuck all over private property today. Although i don’t always carry a camera with me, i did notice quite a bit in and around New Brighton Mall this morning whilst out for my 6.30 morning walk. Its that youth of today, I tell ya. No respect for tradition. No respect for private property, it’s them young ones ya know. Us oldies would never, i say never carry on like this. Vandalism it is, thats what it is vandalism and disrespect. They need a good belting, I tell ya, that’ll stop all this carry on. Equal Rights, Flags, Pakeha… what a lot of carry on… here, take a look at this lot…

Good to see young people today taking a bit of pride in their surroundings, putting a bit of effort into keeping the place looking nice.
Good show, what?
thanx
but will some one tell me why the NZ government does not support Maori Sovereignity.. Talkin to this touristy British guy as I made me rounds and he was saying he saw it on the News,(about how transit NZ wouldn’t allow the Sovereignity flag to be flown off the Auckland Habour Bridge) and he was saying “It made him really mad, that it’s bloody stupid,” he kept on going on “just let them fly it, whats the problem? Why don’t they just let them fly it.”
Ka pai!! Good to see our pakeha brothers and sisters out there to tautoko te kaupapa o Tino Rangatiratanga…
Kia Ora,
Hey, I’ve been seeing your stickers round town heaps (I assume they are yours) and am very much in admiration of them. If they aren’t yours do you know where they came from? Anyway, happy to pay, and wanting to get my hands on some. My gorgeous wife is pregnant and not working and would love to voice her opinion by putting some of ‘em fine stickers round town in her spare time! Much Aroha to all!
I don’t have any left sorry!! They came from The Peace Foundation I think, someone gave me a bunch for our Info shop, (that died) and as they had just been sitting around gathering dust, thought they would be better off put to use.
There is a womyns group in Otautahi that is looking at having stalls and other actions/vigils happening ..the email is otautahi.fems@gmail.com , if she is interesting in getting involved she would be most welcome.
Best wishes for hapu and pepi.
Hey Chris,
Are you Chris of Kate and Chris fame? I was so pleased to meet you both at the rally on Saturday. If Kate is keen, we fems have a potluck dinner next week (Thursday) at my house. Will email details.
I work at the Peace Foundation and haven’t seen those stickers floating around there, but will get in touch with the Welly and Auck Offices to see if they know anything and report back,
Peace be,
Anna-Claire
Thanks Anna-Claire, I’m thinkin Chris has fallen asleep or maybe he’s busy fluffing pillows for said partner, or maybe even giving her foot rubs…
